Position:   Paralegal
Reports To:   Legal Services Program Attorney
Schedule:    Part time (20 hours/week). 
Salary:   $18.50 to $19.50 per hour depending on experience. Generous time off and excellent health benefits.
Start Date:    ASAP

Must have ability to work remotely in a confidential setting. This position requires in person office work as well as remote work.

Our progressive social service agency seeks a highly organized and technologically literate professional to serve as the Paralegal to our Staff Attorney within our Legal Services Program. In this role, you will be interacting with clients to coordinate meetings, complete client intake (on occasion), handling the signing and delivery of paperwork and evidence, completing routine assignments such as court filings, records review and redaction, and marking exhibits, and will also be a key part of strategizing with the Staff Attorney as she develops case strategies and prepares for fact finding hearings, oral arguments, and filing briefs. Though national certification through the National Association of Legal Assistants, or another national accreditation body, is desirable, it is not required for this position. For applicants who are law students, summers off (unpaid) to pursue other legal education opportunities is possible, and the possibility to take the lead on a case (or cases) is also available.

Position: Accounting Manager
Schedule: Part time at 20 hours/week
Salary: $19.35-$22.35 per hour depending on experience with generous benefits
This is an in office position with the possibility for flexible scheduling.
Start Date: ASAP

The Accounting Manager will support the Finance Director with accounts payable and receivable, and general finance and accounting duties to ensure financial success of the organization. Primary duties include: general accounting duties including accounts receivable, accounts payable (processing invoices and cutting checks), deposits, general ledger recording, and monthly bank reconciliations. Assist with quarterly vouchers and closings and annual budget work and with preparation for the annual audit and tax return.

Position: Administrative Assistant
Schedule: Full Time at 35 hr/week
Salary: $16.51/hr with $.50 hourly increase after 6 month provisional employment period is
successfully completed.
Start Date: ASAP

The Administrative Assistant is an important component of our team and provides broad support for the work of the agency. This front office position will provide broad-based administrative support for the office, conduct all matters pertaining to the front office, and serve as the first point of contact for Advocacy Center clients and visitors, setting a welcoming and professional tone. Responsibilities include office reception, answering the phone and triaging calls, administrative support for Executive Director and Leadership Team, logistical assistance with special events, managing and ordering office supplies, primary office contact for maintenance needs and coordination with repair vendors, updating and maintaining staff orientation materials and manuals, and performing other duties as assigned.
