On Call Crisis Counselor Advocate – Full-Time
Status: Full time – generally working 35 hours weekly
Salary: $16.02/hr with generous benefits

After Hours On Call Requirement: Must be able to respond to Cayuga Medical Center in Ithaca, NY within 45 minutes

Our progressive social service agency seeks an On Call Crisis Counselor-Advocate, who will work independently and as part of our client services team. The person in this position will assess caller’s needs and provide immediate emotional support services to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and child sexual abuse, as well as to non-offending family members, professionals and people supporting victims who access services through the agency hotline. This position provides valuable service to vulnerable populations.
Participation in a paid rotation of after-hours hotline on-call (weeknight, weekend, and holiday), with other client services staff is required.
